We focus on quality components as well as both ethical and sustainable business practices. In order to produce our products in alignment with these goals, we source components and materials as locally as possible. We start by looking for components from Nordic countries and move outward to the rest of Europe if necessary.
Our plan is that your NORDRE Roasting machine will undergo a mid life upgrade. This allows the resources consumed during production to serve you for as long as possible, and reduces environmental impact.

Additionally, our roasters are constructed with materials & components that are suitable for recycling, so that when your roaster is finally scrapped the majority of them can be re-used.
The day your business needs to increase production capacity, our modular design will enable you to do so while maintaining the same canopy – this reduces the environmental footprint of material, transports and labor.
Catching a flight to fix a problem can in some situations be the right decision, but whenever possible we will use IoT connectivity to diagnose your problems and lend support – together reducing the footprint of our industry.

Quality

NORDRE roasters are powered by wood pellets, which is a sustainable, fully circular, and CO2 neutral fuel source. The roast construction is a fluid bed, which is theoretically the best design for a coffee roaster. Find more info here. Additionally, with a NORDRE roaster there is no chaff disposal as the chaff is integrated into a circular energy economy.

Our roasters are not only thermally insulated. They are also sound insulated and sound absorbing. Our goal is that you and your team should be able to roast all day without the need for hearing protection. NORDRE follows a Swedish approach to workplace stress.
A NORDRE has zero olfactory emissions from its exhaust due to the high heat of combustion.
And with an automatic and closed chaff handling system, inhaling harmful particles during chaff removal is history.
