Fuel options
The source of energy for a roaster that is available and the most efficient varies. Therefore, our roast is designed to accommodate your individual needs. We have three fuel options where one is standard, but easily interchangeable at your desire.

Our default option, and by far the most cost effective and genuine way of roasting. A modern wood pellets burner produces extremely clean exhaust air.

Bio gas offers similar sustainability performance as wood pellets, making it a good choice for the environmentally conscious client who does not have access to wood pellets.

The traditional choice of energy for a coffee roasting machine. We do not recommend this fuel source unless you have no other choice since it is both more expensive, and has a signifcantly larger environmental footprint than wood pellets. But if you want your business to benefit from the high energy efficiency inherent in the NORDRE roast construction and gain the benefits of a fluid bed roast, this option might be right for you.
